DTS Software Release: Changes to Welcome Screen and More
On August 31, 2018, a DTS software release was implemented that changed the Welcome Screen and the last screens users see when creating an authorization. This update was the next in a series of releases aimed at modernizing the User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI). Specifically, it included the following key changes:
-- The “DTS Dashboard” replaces the DTS Welcome screen after the login screen.
-- In a DTS authorization, the navigation options have changed and a Review module has replaced the Additional Options and Review/Sign modules.
*Please note that the "Return to List" link on legacy DTS pages points Defense Travel Administrators (DTAs), Authorizing Officials (AOs), and Non-DTS Entry Agents (NDEAs), including Routing Officials (ROs) back to their own list of documents rather than to the traveler's list of documents. Administrators should navigate to a newly redesigned page such as, the Expenses page, and select the "Return to traveler's documents" link, which will correctly direct users to the list a traveler’s documents. Note that the "Return to traveler’s documents" currently seen on all newly redesigned pages is working as it should and will be consistent throughout DTS documents.
