Updated Version of TraX Coming 8/21

The Defense Travel Management Office will release an updated version of TraX tentatively scheduled for the evening of August 21, 2020. The web-based application provides a centralized source of travel information to include training, travel assistance, knowledge search, trip tools, and other useful information. The new version of TraX will feature a refreshed look, improved usability, and enhanced accessibility. TraX is mobile-friendly, so TraX Touch has been retired.

The updated version includes:

  • Landing Page – The new design will improve navigation allowing users to more easily navigate to TraX tools.

  • Training – The new design makes it easier for users to view available courses and determine which course is right for them.  A new enhancement allows users to now search for classes by title. New training designations makes it easier to see the types of training. It is also easier to view the status of scheduled and completed coursework, and download completed training certificates.

  • Trip Tools – The updated look and flow makes it easier for users to create, share, and save trip estimates. NOTE: After the TraX release on August 21, all previously saved estimates will no longer be accessible. Users interested in retaining saved estimates should use the download or email features in Trip Calculator prior to August 21.

Users will still be able to access TraX by logging in to the Passport portal at www.defensetravel.dod.mil/passport.
