2021 Continental U.S. (CONUS) Living Pattern Survey
This survey runs from 1 January to 31 March, and is limited to members permanently assigned in CONUS who are at their current PDS for at least 3 months.
About the Survey: This survey is used to measure shopping patterns of Uniformed Service members stationed in CONUS. Data collected will assist in the determination of Overseas and CONUS Cost-of-Living Allowances (COLA). To prepare for the survey, determine where your household purchases groceries, clothing, household furnishings, entertainment, communications and transportation.
Authority: This survey is in accordance with 10 USC § 136, 37 USC § 403(b), and 37 USC § 475.
Participation:Participation in this survey is voluntary. Failure to respond will not result in penalty to the respondent. However, maximum response is encouraged so aggregate data will accurately represent shopping patterns of Service members in CONUS.
