This section will guide you through the navigation, structure, and functionalities of the class. While going through the class, you can revisit the help section at any time by selecting the Help link at the bottom of the screen.

Main Menu
This is the course menu. It lists the various topics covered in the class. You can access any topic by selecting the topic name.
Global Navigation
There are certain global functions and information available on each screen. These will help you navigate through the class.

Interactive Screens
You will come across various interactive screens in the class. On these screens, select images, icons, etc. for more information.
Interactive Screens with Images
Interactive screens with images are screens on which you need to select an image for more information. This information appears in a pop-up window.

Interactive Screens with Bulleted Text
On Interactive screens with bulleted text, select or mouse over the bulleted text for more information. This information appears in a pop-up window.

Interactive Screens with Highlighted Areas
Select or mouse over course content highlighted in red for more information. Green highlighted areas are non-interactive but serve to draw your attention to certain elements on the screen.

Interactive screens with buttons are screens on which you need to select a button for more information. This information appears in a pop-up window.

Interactive Screens with Hyperlinked Text
Interactive screens with hyperlinked text are screens on which you need to select the hyperlinked text for more information. This information appears in a pop-up window.

On interactive screens with icons, select or mouse over an icon for more information. This information appears in a pop-up window.

Explore and Apply
On some screens, you will see an Explore & Apply button. The Explore & Apply content provides access to optional material that is organized on one or more tabs. The first tab is displayed by default. You may access the tabs in any order. The optional material is presented in the form of explanatory content, Guided Simulations, or Try Its. For more information on the Explore & Apply screens, refer to Topic 1, Screen 2 of this class.
Explanatory Content
Explore & Apply screens may contain interactive elements (selectable bulleted items, highlighted areas, etc.) like any other content screen. The only difference is that the textual information is not testable.
Guided Simulations
A Guided Simulation will show you how to complete a procedure in DTS. The elements of a guided simulation screen are highlighted.

Try It
A Try It is a practice version of the guided simulation. Unlike the guided simulation, there will be no text-instructionsructions to guide you. If you perform a step incorrectly, you will receive feedback stating that your action was incorrect. On the second incorrect try you will be given a hint. Finally, on the third incorrect try the step will be done for you.

Checkpoints
Some Explore and Apply screens may have checkpoints. These are practice activity screens, which consist of different types of activities such as multiple-choice questions, matching activities, or identifying a particular area on a screen shot.

Checkpoint screens contain different types of practice activities. These screens are included to reinforce your learning and are not graded.

Matching Activity
In a matching activity, you must match the items listed in the first column with those listed in the second column.

Multiple-choice Questions
Multiple-choice checkpoints are questions with several possible answers. These questions may have one or more correct answers. After selecting your answers, you must select the Submit button.

Hot Spot
Hot Spot checkpoints have questions related to a screen from DTS. To answer the question, you must select the relevant area on the screen shot.
Assessment
This class ends with an Assessment. This assessment tests your understanding of the content covered in the class.
