SYNOPSIS: Adds footnote to the JFTR specifying the authority granted to the Commander, United States European Command, (USEUCOM) in Under Secretary of Defense Memo, dated, 1 August 2012, Exception to Policy to Change Unaccompanied Tour Lengths to 24 Months for Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. This item adds language to APP Q1 indicating that the Commander, USEUCOM may authorize a 24-month unaccompanied tour only for unaccompanied military personnel assigned to direct support of Priority Level-1 Capable Mission at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. The unaccompanied tour length for all other military personnel assigned to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey remains 15 months. |
